COLOR ALIGNMENT OF A PROJECTOR WALL
CONNECTIONS
The connections for the display walls are rather different
from those for a single stand-alone projector. First of all,
the projectors must be interconnected like a chain through
the RS232 input and output ports. Please refer to your
manuals of the projector or/and graph wall for explana-
tions for details.
Except the interconnections among the ACTAS units
remain the same, other connections have to be done in
terms of the wall system if the wall is a split video type or
it is a MVGS/EOS wall.
Walls of a split video type
If the wall is a split video type, the video signal from the
ACTAS Interface unit should be fed to the video splitter.
The following connections need to be done :
K
Interconnect the ACTAS system;
K
Connect the first projector in the chain as a single
stand-alone projector to the ACTAS Interface unit
(see Chapter 3, p.3-1);
K
Connect the video splitter to the 'Video' signal of the
'TEST PICTURE OUTPUT' on the ACTAS Interface
through one BNC connector (see Chapter 3, p.3-1).
Walls of the MVGS/EOS system
If it is a MVGS/EOS wall, the RGB signal paths remain
untouched, the ACTAS Interface Unit RGB signals are
not used.
The following connections need to be done :
K
Interconnect the ACTAS system;
K
Connect the first projector in the chain as a single
stand-alone projector to the ACTAS Interface unit
(see Chapter 3, p.3-1);
K
Connect the MVGS/EOS of the wall to the port
marked as 'TO HOST' on the ACTAS Interface
through a cable with D9 connectors.
Note :
In case of a wall system other than the MVGS/EOS, the
host computer should be able to generate signals.
