Setting the measuring frequency
(Only available in the "Advanced" menu style)
This frequency is the number of times per second the
ACTAS measures the projector light output.
The range of the measuring frequency is from 1 to 16 Hz.
To set the measuring frequency :

Press the <ADJUST> key to enter the edit mode.

Use the '

' keys to select the higher and lower
value comparing with the underlined one.

Use the '
' and '
right to underline the digit needed to be changed.

Press the <ENTER> key to save the changes. A
message will be displayed to report the saving pro-
cess. If the <EXIT> key is pressed, the changes will
be discarded. A message will be displayed to report
the reverting process.
An example is given, which alters the measuring fre-
quency from 10 to 8 Hz.
Coarse adjustment ON/OFF
(Only available in the "Advanced" menu style)
During the adjustment process, the ACTAS approaches
the target values in two ways :
u
Either with successive approximation, initially using
coarse steps. To allow the ACTAS to carry out the
coarse adjustment, the option 'coarse adj' must be
switched ON;
u
Or with small steps, then the option 'Coarse adj' must
be switched OFF. Using small steps can be time
saving if the projector is known to be adjusted almost
correctly.
For a minor adjustment of a projector, set the 'Coarse
adj' OFF, and also the 'Init bri & con' OFF.
To switch the 'Coarse adj' ON/OFF:

Press the <ADJUST> key to enter the edit mode.

' keys to toggle between "ON" and
"OFF".

Press the <ENTER> key to save the change. A
message will be displayed to report the saving pro-
cess. If the <EXIT> key is pressed, the change will be
discarded. A message will be displayed to report the
reverting process.
