SPECIFIC REMARKS ABOUT VIP CUBE
CONTRAST & MAIN CONTRAST
Because of the added contrast modulation circuitry, 2 contrast adjustments are present in the VIP Cube instead of
one for all other projectors : one that directly listens to the RCU contrast control, and one in the contrast modulation
menu.
These two kinds of contrast
have their corresponding
names in the ACTAS dis-
play, i.e., the Main contrast
and the contrast.
Brightness
The brightness expressed in percentage displayed on the ACTAS Control Unit differs from the brightness
percentage indication on the projector, because the latter follows a non-linear relation. Nevertheless, if the option
"Init bri & con" is switched on, the values will be correctly duplicated from the reference projector to the other ones.
