'G2' as the Reference kind
Like the 'Custom' kind, the 'G2' kind is also used for
adjustments relative to a reference to be provided by the
user. It only takes 1 set of reference for the G2 values :
G2 Red, G2 Green and G2 Blue.
Please note that if the reference kind is 'G2' , the menus
inside the dotted box on Page 2-9 will be changed into
that displayed on the right side.
'C Temp' as the Reference kind
The 'C Temp' kind is used to obtain an absolute color
temperature. It can be used to set a projector to any color
temperature ranging from 3200 to 9900 K.
Please note that if the reference kind is 'C Temp' , the
menus inside the dotted box on Page 2-9 will be changed
into that displayed on the right side.
To define an absolute color temperature :

Press the <ADJUST> key to enter the edit mode.

Use the ' ' and ' ' keys to select the higher and lower
value comparing with the underlined one.

Use the ' ' and ' ' keys to move the cursor left or
right to underline the digit (on thousand or hundred)
needed to be changed.

Press the <ENTER> key to save the change. A
message will be displayed to report the saving pro-
cess. If the <EXIT> key is pressed, the changes will
be discarded. A message will be displayed to report
the reverting process.
For the 'C Temp', the step "Get reference" is skipped.
The required values are calculated from the entered
color temperature. For these calculations, however, the
ACTAS needs to know the picture tube characteristics.
Therefore, after the value of the color temperature is
displayed, a phosphor menu will be shown to allow you
to define the type of phosphor used (see Page 2-14).
