Remove the lower plate from the steer-
ing column
•
Slide off the bearing (1), the lower
bearing seat (2) and the dust gaiter (3)
•
If necessary, to remove the bearing seats inside the steering column, use a generic puller.
Assembling
•
Grease the lower and upper bearing
rollers
•
Insert the steering bearing seat using a
punch in the steering column
•
Pre-mount the dust gaiter (3), the lower
bearing guide (2) and the lower bearing
(1) on the steering yoke.
