Repeat the fastening operations of the
camshafts to the rear head.
•
Release the crankshaft from the spe-
cific special tool.
•
Rotate the crankshaft in the riding di-
rection until the rear cylinder piston
reaches the top dead centre (270°).
•
Lock the crankshaft with the specific
special tool.
•
Carry out the timing operations per-
formed on the front cylinder; please
remember that rear camshaft gear nuts
are anticlockwise and cam position is
divergent.
CAUTION
PAY ATTENTION THAT THE FRONT HEAD CAMSHAFT
MUST CONVERGE (A) AND THE REAR HEAD CAMSHAFT
MUST DIVERGE (B), AS INDICATED IN THE FIGURE.
