Slide off the shaft with the cover.
•
Collect the lock pin from the shaft.
•
Remove the oil pump rotor.
•
Remove the oil pump stator.
CAUTION
CHECK THAT THE ROTOR AND STATOR ARE NOT DAM-
AGED (NO EVIDENT ABRASIONS, SCORES OR ANY OTH-
ER MARKS).
