8.2.2 Mechanical Pump Does Not Fuel
The following table describes the Islander Prime troubleshooting procedure and appropriate
corrective actions when the mechanical pump does not fuel (see
Table 24: Mechanical Pump Does Not Fuel

Save and reload.

Check again.
Make a secure electrical connection.
If it is off, use a voltmeter to check power
supply to the unit: If power supply is OK,
then replace the LAN to 3x 485
CommVerter board. If power supply is
faulty, replace the power supply.

Replace MPI-C board.

Replace LAN to 3x 485 CommVerter.
If the problem persists:

Check Handle-on switch.

Repair pump.

Check In Use cable and repair (if
necessary).

Check terminal wires and repair (if
necessary).

Check In Use switch in the pump and
repair (if necessary).
Replace pump switch in cases
where no short was detected.
Make good electrical connection if faulty
one exists.
Replace In-use terminal block.
• If the red LED is not lit, replace the
MPI-C board.
• If the LED is lit, the problem is
external to the controller.
Replace the LAN to 3x 485 CommVerter.
• Replace valve
• Repair pump
