Description
The SmartPrep 065 degasser prepares samples for adsorption analysis by remov-
ing adsorbed contaminants from the surface and pores of the samples. It contains
six heating stations, which enable you to degas up to six samples simultaneously.
Each station is independently controlled. Gas flow controls enable you to vary
the rate of gas flow to each heating station and status indicators show the current
state of the heating stations.
The SmartPrep has two serial ports. One port is used to connect the SmartPrep to
the control module. You may use the other port to connect an additional Smart-
Prep if desired. In addition, you can connect up to four SmartPreps, one to the
other, allowing you to use 24 heating stations at one time.
The SmartPrep software enables you to specify degas conditions, degas samples
automatically or manually, and monitor the progress of degas operations.
