Safety

2.1 Intended purpose

The instructions for use form part of the portable unit. If the
instructions for use and the following safety information are not
fully complied with, the treatment may fail or be compromised.
This could cause severe or life-threatening injuries to the patient
and user.
 Fully comply with the instructions for use.
 Keep instructions for use with the portable unit so that they
can be accessed at any time.
 Only use the portable unit as defined by the intended purpose
(see "2.1 Intended purpose", page
 Do not use the portable unit in the event of contraindications.
 Follow the instructions for use of the attached devices and their
accessories.
 Follow the assembly instructions of the accessories and other
parts.
Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the product
should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent
authority.
The portable unit LIFE-BASE serves to hold, protect and transport:
individual medical devices from the MEDUMAT, MEDUVENT,
MEDUCORE, MODUL and OXYWAY series,
a combination of these medical devices and the accessory
components required for their use.
No restrictions.
