4.3
Using EnerVista MM3 Setup
Use the following procedure to save the current setpoints for use at a later date:
Start EnerVista MM3 Setup and establish communications with the
MM3 Motor Manager 3.
Select the File > Save As menu item.
Enter the filename for the saved setpoints in the File Name box or
select any of the displayed file names to update them.
All MM3 Motor Manager 3 setpoint files should have the extension
MM3 Motor Manager 3 (for example, MOTOR5.MM3).
Click OK to save the setpoint file.
MM3 Motor Manager 3 setpoint filenames should follow a standard 8.3 file naming
convention: eight characters, a decimal, and a three character extension (for example,
SPF_V340.MM3).
Use the following procedure when setting commissioning values for multiple MM3 Motor
Manager 3s or when an MM3 Motor Manager 3 is not communicating or connected to the
computer.
Start EnerVista MM3 Setup.
Select the File > New menu item to enter setpoint values for the
off-line MM3 Motor Manager 3.
If the software is communicating with the MM3 Motor Manager 3,
communications will be halted during the new file creation. The
following window appears, allowing the user to configure MM3
Motor Manager 3 for the options ordered with a particular MM3
Motor Manager 3 unit. EnerVista MM3 Setup needs to know the
correct options when creating a setpoint file so that setpoints not
available for a particular unit are not downloaded.
Select the installed options and firmware version then make the
appropriate setpoints changes.
After configuration, select the File >Save As menu item. This
launches the dialog box shown below.
