Overview
Although setpoints can be entered manually using the front panel keys, it is much easier to
use a computer to download values through the communications port. The EnerVista MM3
Setup software is available from GE Multilin to make this as convenient as possible. With
EnerVista MM3 Setup running, it is possible to:
• Program/modify setpoints
• Load/save setpoint files from/to disk
• Read actual values
• Monitor status
• Read pre-trip data and trip record
• Get help on any topic
• Upgrade MM3 Motor Manager 3 firmware
• View the instruction manual as a help file
The EnerVista MM3 Setup software allows immediate access to all MM3 Motor Manager 3
features with easy to use pull down menus in the familiar Windows environment. This
chapter provides the necessary information to install EnerVista MM3 Setup, upgrade the
relay firmware, and write/edit setpoint files.
The EnerVista MM3 Setup software can run without a MM3 Motor Manager 3 connected to
the computer. In this case, settings may be saved to a file for future use. If an MM3 Motor
Manager 3 is connected to a PC and communications are enabled, the MM3 Motor
Manager 3 can be programmed from the setpoint screens. In addition, measured values,
status and trip messages can be displayed with the actual value screens.
