Assembly of the Rotor
14.5.1
General Information

Appendix to Motor Frame Size 530G/530L and 530 with Housing
If the screws and washers used do not comply with this recommen‐
dation, the property class of the screws and the hardness class
must be equivalent in order to transmit the required tightening tor‐
ques (see
fig. 14-3 "Fastening scews with tightening torque" on
page
253).

Check the correct position of the stator and tighten all fastening screws
with the necessary tightening torque by using the crossover pattern.

The rotor assembly procedure described in the following should be a sugges‐
tion of a possible assembly of the rotor for the user. This suggestion can be
understood as a guideline to appreciate the necessary assembly effort and to
provide the necessary lifting tools like spacer sleeves, clamping ring, inlet guide
or centering help for the assembly.
Basically, the rotor is guided on a spacer sleeve over two insertion fittings into
the rotor holes and fastened with a terminal plate. Then it must be centered into
the stator over the propulsive shaft and fastened with a clamping ring.
The rotor is magnetically! Risk of injury and crimping danger by magnetic
forces!
⇒ Eliminate movable metal objects or secure against movement.
⇒ Careful handling of magnetic parts.
⇒ Wear protecting clothes and use mounting implements.
