Tightening torque of the screws: 6.5 Nm (±10%)
Before tightening the screws, make sure that the seal between the lid and
the terminal box housing is positioned properly.

Loss of the motor protection class due to improperly inserted or
missing sealings!
Check the attached seal at the terminal box lid for proper state and position
before attaching the terminal box lid to the terminal box.
The following overview shows the connection and clamp designations for power
connection, brake connection and the motor temperature monitoring at the re‐
spective Rexroth drive controller.

Encoder and encoder connection components are not in the scope of delivery
of the motor. Choose the components according to the requirements of the
machine.
Setting the encoder polarity is dependend on the sense of rotating direction of
the rotor and must be parameterized at start-up of the drive device. Therefore,
notice the functional description of the drive device and the definitions within
chapter 12.6 "Determining the Polarity of the Encoder Systems" on page
234.

Note:
The cables for connecting the motor encoder and the device controller must
have a compatible plug on the motor side. When using components of different
manufacturers heed the continuous compatibility of the connection system.
To ensure a safe motor protection against thermal overload, the temperature
sensor for motor protection SNM150.DK must be connected on the drive con‐
