14.1
General Information
Appendix to Motor Frame Size 530G/530L and 530 with Housing
Because of their construction, IndraDyn T - motors with frame size 530G and
530L are suited to drive press cylinders.
To receive a better overview of the project planning manual, special notes re‐
garding mounting this motors are given in this chapter, additionally to
11 "Installation" on page
The following mounting instruction describes a noncommittal, schematical con‐
struction without considering the constructive speciality of the machine and
serves only for general orientation.
The machine manufacturer has to consider the special character of his con‐
struction and must work out a special mounting instruction. Only the mounting
instruction of the machine manufacturer is binding.
All screwed connections must be secured with screw fastener LOCTITE 243.
The dimension sheets give additional notes and recommendations about
mounting of motors in principal. For this reason, parts are figured and needed
which are not in the scope of delivery of Bosch Rexroth and have to be ac‐
cordingly dimensioned and provided. Including:
●
motor housing and terminal box (depending on the stator design)
●
motor encoder
●
spacer sleeve (for rotor mounting)
●
terminal ring and terminal plate (for rotor mounting)
We recommend to keep the following procedure for motor assembly:
1.
Mount the stator into the motor housing (depending on the stator design).
2.
Connect the connection cable with the terminal box (depending on the
stator design).
3.
Fasten the stator with housing on the machine.
4.
Connect rotor and spacer sleeve with the terminal plate.
5.
Position the rotor with spacer sleeve on the shaft and and fasten it with a
terminal ring.
6.
Mount the motor encoder.
7.
Mount the housing lid and the encoder cover.
8.
Do the electrical connection and the coolant connection.
