An EIA-232 interface is provided for the short-distance connection with a controller or
computer.
A point-to-point connection is established with a control device.
For this interface, three operating modes are available:
Operating mode, bit rate, parity and number of stop bits are set in the set-up menu.
The rate can be set within 1200 and 38400 bit/s. The character parity for this
interface can be selected to EVEN, ODD or NONE. The number of data bits is set to
8 and cannot be modified.
