Step Actions and Questions
1 PAPER INSPECTION
Inspect the paper that is loaded in the paper Bins.
Is the paper wrinkled, dimpled, or show any
sign of having a high moisture content?
2 IMAGE DENSITY INSPECTION
Run a Black Test Print.
Is the Test Print black?
FUSER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

1. Replace the Fuser Assembly.
2. Run a half dozen Grid Test Prints.
Does the image rub off?
4 The following printer components and areas are
associated with this specific problem. One or more of
these components or areas may have failed partially or
completely. If you cannot isolate this problem using the
steps in this Fault Isolation Procedure, replace each
component or troubleshoot each area listed below, one at
a time, until you isolate and solve the problem.
