The RS485 interface on the UMG511 is de-
signed as a 9-pin DSUB socket.
On this interface, the UMG511 supports the
following selected protocols:
• Modbus RTU
• Profibus DP V0 Slave (Option)
For connection, we recommend a 9-pin profi-
bus plug e.g. the company Phoenix, type
"SUBCON-Plus-ProfiB/AX/SC" with the ar-
ticle number 2744380 (Janitza article no.
13.10.539)
