Fixed IP address
The network addresses must be directly set
on the device in simple networks without a
DHCP server.
BootP
BootP allows fully automatic incorporation of
a UMG511 in an existing network. BootP is an
older protocol and does not have the extent of
functions of DHCP.
DHCP mode
DHCP permits the fully automatic incorpo-
ration of an UMG511 in an existing network
without further configuration. When started,
the UMG511 automatically receives the IP ad-
dress, the netmask and the gateway from the
DHCP server.
The UMG511 is pre-set to "DHCP-Client" in
the factory.

trator!
