    UMG 511 Measurement process The UMG511 measures without gaps and calcu- lates all effective values over a 200ms interval. The UMG511 measures the real effective value (TRMS) of the voltages and currents applied to the measurement inputs. Operating concept You can programme and call up measurement va- lues with the UMG511 in a variety of ways.

    UMG 511 Frequency measurement The UMG511 needs the network frequency to measure and calculate measurement values. The network frequency must be in a range between 15Hz and 440Hz. For automatic ascertainment (wide range) of the frequency, an L1-N voltage larger than 10Veff must be applied to the voltage measurement input V1.
