Direct measurement
Nominal currents up to 5A can also be directly
measured with the UMG511. Please pay at-
tention to the fact that each current measure-
ment input may be permanently loaded with
6A or with a maximum of 60A for 1 second.
Due to the fact that the UMG511 does not
have integrated protection for the current
measurement, this protection (e.g. 6A fuse
with tripping characteristic B) must be fore-
seen in the installation.

Installation
Ampere meter
If you want to measure the current not only
with the UMG511, but also with an addition-
al ampere meter, the ampere meter must be
switched in series to the UMG511.
