The QoS service allows you to use IP Type of Service (ToS) and IEEE 802.1Q Class of Service (CoS)
tagging of IP traffic based on the application type or TCP/UDP port number. You can start or stop the
QoS daemon to enable or disable tagging.
The following example shows how to turn on tagging for all SNMP packets sent to port 161, with a
class of service set to 1, and a type of service set to 7:
HL950> set service qos:serv=snmp, port=161, tos=1, cos=7;
EXECUTED [0]
*HL950*> show service qos:serv=all;

Notice the realtime QoS settings for CES and VoIP services. To change these realtime values enter:
HL950> set service qos:serv=ces ...
and specify the port, ToS, and CoS values.
Service Type values can be Static and Dynamic. Dynamic type identifies current CES or VoIP session
traffic.
