Prefixes
Parameters and Descriptions
NAME<STR>: Entry name for the CES session
SET
IP<IP>: IP Address of destination for CES traffic
SHOW
ADD
PORT<NUM>: AXERRA = Port, RAD = CBID. Default: 2142
DEL
PAYLOAD<NUM>: AXERRA = ms, RAD = Cells/IP Pkt. Default: 1ms/5cells
START
CESOIP<STR>: CES over IP type. Valid values are AXERRA and RAD.
STOP
Default: AXERRA
SPEED<STR>: Line speed. Valid values are E1, T1, and 'the value of n for n*64 (2-32)' in
kbps. Default: E1. To specify E1 speed, enter SPEED=E1 or SPEED=32.
CLOCK<STR>: Clock to be taken from ADAPT(IVE), NETWORK, EXTERNAL, or
INTERNAL. Default: ADAPTIVE
JB<NUM>: Jitter buffer delay in milliseconds. Default: 10
TYPE<STR>: UDT, SDT, or CAS. Default: UDT
MASK<NUM>: SDT and CAS channel bitmask of which channels with the bit of the far right
is the first Time slot (TS0). Default: 0xFFFFFFFE
STATS<BOOL>: Whether to display the session statistics. Default: NO.
AC<BOOL>: Whether to show the adaptive clock statistics. Only useful when the clock is set
to ADAPTIVE.
JBINFO<BOOL>: Whether to show the jitter buffer information
RESET<BOOL>: Whether to reset the session statistics. Default: NO
PORT in AXERRA mode is just a port number. Specify a number greater than 1023 to avoid
conflict with reserved port numbers. In RAD mode, PORT is the Channel Bundle ID
number.
The following example shows the CES IP circuits that are configured:

NOTE!
ATM traffic that is slower than 2.3 Mbps causes the default jitter buffer value to starve.
Ericsson recommends doubling the jitter buffer default value (that is, from 10 to 20). This
compensates for the slow line rate. For line rates of 2.3Mbps or higher, the default jitter buffer
value is OK.
