4.2.3.3
X.21, V.35 and V.36 Unstructured CES with Synchronous Clocking
The following explains how to set up X.21/V.35/V.36 unstructured CES using synchronous clocking
with 10ms Jitter buffer.
X.21, V.35 and V.36 Unstructured CES with Synchronous Clocking
When reading the example scenario, consider the following points:
In the figure above, Router1 and Router2 are clocked from the same clock source, PRS (from
!
service provider). In other words, the clocking configuration in HL950 is deriving a network
clock source from the common ATM network. In this case, each HL950 is configured with a
set interface wan shdsl ntrmode=ref8k statement referencing the SHDSL
ATM port.
PVC 0/40 is used between HL950 and DSLAM.
!
The HL950 Headquarters configuration (refer to Figure 11):
__________________________________________________________________________________
WIF 2x SHDSL Module Configuration:
HL950> set interface wan shdsl:ntrmode=ref8k;
HL950> start interface wan shdsl
LIF E1 Module Configuration:
HL950> set interface line serial:cts=on, dsr=on, dcd=on, txcsrc=int,
rxcsrc=txc;
HL950> start interface line serial
ATM VCC Configuration:
HL950> add interface atm vcc:name=dslam, type=aal1, vcc=0/40, srvtype=cbr,
pcr=578000;
CES Application Configuration:
HL950> add ces atm:name=hl950_1, vcname=dslam, type=udt, clock=network,
jb=10, speed=8;
HL950> start ces atm:name=hl950_1;
