    INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION This Quick Installation Guide provides instructions about how to install and power up the CES model of the Ericsson MSED (Multi Service Edge Device) HL950. For detailed information about management of the MSED/HL950, please refer to the “MSED/HL950, Administrator’s Guide”.

Modules can be slot in and are fastened by the front panel screws. The module is self-configurable to each of the three interfaces, and by connecting different cable adapters to the module’s universal serial communications the three interfaces are provided.

    POWER INLET POWER INLET POWER INLET POWER INLET POWER INLET The power supply module is fixed in the main enclosure. The power receptacle and the power on/off switch are located at the rear panel. The power supply module supplies 12V/3A DC power to the baseboard.

To power up the MSED/HL950, flip the power switch to ON.
