2.4 Processor Assembly and Installation

The Intel® Server System M50CYP2UR family includes two Socket-P4 LGA4189 processor sockets
compatible with the 3

Two types of heat sinks are supported for the Intel® Server System M50CYP2UR family: Standard 2U heat
sink and standard 1U heat sink. The type of heat sink used depends on the system configuration and its
thermal requirements. Server systems using the GPGPU air duct must use the standard 1U heat sink.
