Introduction

The Intel® Server System M50CYP2UR family is a purpose built, storage-optimized system that delivers
power and performance at a peak efficiency in a 2U rack mount server form factor. The server system
supports up to two 3 rd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, delivering high core count and new hardware-
enhanced security features. Previous generation Intel® Xeon® processor and Intel® Xeon® Scalable processor
families are not supported.
The system provides high memory bandwidth and capacity of up to 32 DDR4 DIMMs for memory intensive
workloads. The product family supports Intel® Optane™ DC persistent memory 200 series modules.
