( ) Refer
to Detail
4-6C, and cut the power
transformer
(#54-198) leads to the specified
lengths. Measure
the leads from where they
come out of the transformer
case.
After
the leads are cut to length, remove 1/4" of
insulation
from
the end of each lead and
melt a small amount of solder on the exposed
lead ends.
,
( ) Refer
to Detail
4-6B,
and identify
the
cathode lead of a silicon diode.
( ) Red to lug 5 (NS).
( ) Yellow to lug 4 (NS).
( ) Connect a 2-1/2"
red wire between lugs 2
(NS) and 5 (S-2) of terminal
str-ip AC.
( ) Connect a 100
Kn
(brown-black-yellow)
2
watt resistor
between lugs 1 (NS) and 4 (S-1)
of capacitor
AE.
( ) Three orange to lug 1 (NS).
Connect
the
wires
from
BO#10 to terminal
strip AC as follows:
( ) Connect the black filter choke lead to lug 1
of capacitor
AE (NS).
( ) Position
the chassis
as shown in Pictorial
4-6.
( ) Solder lug 3 of capacitor AE to the capacitor
mounting wafer (S-1).
( ) Connect the red filter
choke lead to lug 2
of capacitor
AE
(NS).
This completes
the wiring of the relay. Check
visually
to
see
that no shorts exist. Lugs 7 and
15 should not have any connections.
( ) Connect the cathode lead of the diode to lug
4
(S-2) and the other lead to lug 2 (S-3) of
terminal
strip AC.
( ) Connect a
2-1/2"
red wire from lug 4 of
relay AA (S-l) to lug 2 of terminal
strip
AC (NS).
