washers and 6-32 nuts. Be sure the screw
at TL does not touch the' terminal
lugs
of the coil.
( ) Connect one end of
a
1-1/2" red wire to
lug 2 of the coil (NS).
( ) Install the coil
at
CC, with the black wire
through hole 3 and the red wire through
hole 7.
( ) Connect one end of a 2" black wire to lug
1 of the coil (8-2).

( ) Connect a 100 pf mica
capacitor
between
lugs 1 (N8) and 2 (NS) of a (#40-550) coil.
LENGTH
WIRE COLOR
( ) Install this coil at CB, with the wire through
hole 2.
( ) Prepare the following lengths of wire:
( ) Connect one end of
a
2-1/2" brown wire to
lug 1 of the coil (8-2).
( ) Pass one end of a 1-1/2" bare wire through
lug 2 of coil CD (8-2) to lug 2 of coil CE
(S-2). The other end of the wire will be
connected later.
( ) Connect a
68
pf mica capacitor between lugs
1 (NS) and 2 (NS) of a (#40-551) coil.
( ) Install the coil at CE, with the wire through
hole 6.
( ) Connect one end of a 3-1/2" blue wire to
lug 1 of the coil (S-2).
( ) Refer to Details 3-2A and 3-2C, and install
the coil at CA with the yellow wire through
hole 1 and the red wire through hole 4.
Be
sure
to
posttion the locating tab properly.
Push the coil down into the chassis hole
until it snaps
in
place.
( ) Connect a 22 pf mica capacitor between lugs
1 (NS) and 2 (NS) of a (#40-529) coil.
Detail 3-2C
( ) Install the coil at CD, with the wire through
hole 5.
( ) Connect one end of a 2-1/2" green wire to
lug 1 of a #40-529) coil (S-1)

( ) Pass one end of a 4" bare wire through lug
2 of coil CA (S-4), through lug 2 of coil
CB (8-3), to lug 2 of coil CC (S-3). The
other end of the wire will be connected
later.
NOTE: Small bare wire should be used for
all steps calling for bare wire, unless large
bare wire is specified.
