( ) Place the prepared terminal board in posi-
. tion with one hole over the stud at FM and
the other over the 1" threaded spacer.
Secure the terminal board with a #6 lock-
washer and 6-32 nut on the stud and a 6-32 x
1/4" screw and #6 solder lug into the spacer.
Be sure that the number 1 is positioned as
shown.
( ) Connect the positive
(+)
lead of a 20 JLfd
electrolytic capacitor to lug 16 (8-1) and the
other lead to lug 26 (8-1) of the terminal
board. Use the hole in the bottom of each
lug. Position this capacitor under the ter-
minal board as shown.

6-32 NUT
( ) Connect the' gray wire from BO#9to LEVEL
on the carrier generator circuit board (8-1).
The remaining wires will be connected later.
( ) Refer to Detail 4-3A and prepare a 30-lug
terminal board by cutting between the lugs
as shown. Be sure you have the correct
point before cutting.

other lead to lug 10 (8-1) of the terminal
board. Use the hole in the bottom of each
lug. Position the capacitor under the ter-
minal board as shown.
Start a 6-32 x 1/2" stud in angle bracket
FM. 8ecure the stud as shown in Detail
4-3C with a 416lockwasher and a 6-32 nut.
