( ) Connect one end of a 3-3/4" red wire to
lug 2 of the coil (NS).

CAPACITOR
( ) Connect one end of a 1-1 /2" blue wire to lug
1 of the coil (S-2).

( ) Connect a 62 pf mica capacitor between
lugs 1 (NS) and 2 (NS) of a #40-529 coil.
Detail 4-2E
( ) Connect the red wire from hole 15 to lug 2
of coil CP (8-4). The mounting clip of coil
CP may be bent if necessary to provide
clearance for the wire.
( ) Refer to Detail 4-2E, and connect a 50 pf
mica capacitor between lugs 1 (NS) and 2
(NS) of a #40-768 coil.
( ) Place 3 /8" of sleeving over the red wire
from hole 15. Push the sleeving down on
the wire so it protects the wire at the point
where it comes through the chassis.
( ) Connect one end of a 2-1/4" blue wire to
lug 1 of the coil (S-3).
( ) Install the coil at C p.
( ) Pass one lead of a 100
n
(brown-black-
brown) resistor through lug 1 of coil CN
(8-4) to lug 2 of coil CP (NS). Use sleeving
on this lead. Connect the other lead of this
resistor to lug 1 of coil CM (8-3).
NOTE: The wires that are connected to coils
CP, CN, CM, CX, and CU in the following steps
are shown on the Detail only to provide more
clarity on the Pictorial. The coils will be mount-
ed beneath the chassis.
( ) Connect a .005 /lfd 500 V disc capacitor
from lug 1 of coil CM (NS) to solder lug Z
(S-1).
( ) Connect a . 62 pf mica capacitor between
lugs 1 (NS) and 2 (NS) of this coil.
( ) Connect a .005 Jlfd 500 V disc capacitor
from lug 1 of coil CN (NS) to solder lug U
(8-1).

( ) Refer to Detail 4-20, and install a 3300

(orange-orange-red) resistor between lugs
1 (NS) and 2 (NS) of a #40-529 coil.
( ) Connect one end of a 1-3/4" green wire
