( ) Refer to Detail 3-3J, and install an
RF
choke
(#45-41) at TB, using a 6-32 x 3/8" screw
and #6 lockwasher, Position the choke lugs
as shown. Do not overtighten the screw,
as the ceramic form could be damaged
easily.
) Install the .tuning capacitor support bracket
on top of the chassis with a S-Iug terminal
strip at N and a large #6 solder lug at M
on the bottom of the chassis. Use 6-32 x
1/4" hardware.

( ) Install the phenolic shaft coupling as far
as it will go on the shaft of a 1-section
variable capacitor (#26-77). Use an 8-32
x 1/8" setscrew.
( ) Place a split bushing in the end of a 1/4"
phenolic, shaft coupling and secure it with
an 8-32 x 1/4" setscrew. Position the split
bushing flush with the end of the coupling
and tighten the setscrew just enough to
hold the split bushing in place.
