) Mount this tube socket at V9 with a small
#6 solder lug at S. Use 3-48 x 1 /4"
hard-
ware. Position the socket and solder lug
as shown.
) Refer to the inset draWing of Detail 3-1L,
and remove pin 9 from a 9-pin 'tube socket.
Cut off the bottom of the pin as close to the
socket as possible. The remainder
of the
pin can be pushed out easily with a pointed
instrument.

tube socket
at
VB
with a large 3-lug
terminal strip at
C
and a small #6 solder
lug
at B. Use 3-48 x 1
/4"
hardware. Position
