LUG
( ) Plug this phono plug into the phono socket
on the rear of the LMO.
( ) Refer to Detail 4-1G and install a phono
plug on the black-red cable.

Connect the wire and coaxial cable from Break-

as follows:
( ) Black-orange cable: innerleadtoC
(8-1)
and
the shield to
B (8-1)
on the mixer-bandpass
Circuit board. Be sure 5 /8" of insulation is
removed from the end of the inner lead.
( ) Violet

TP (NS).
( ) Refer to Detail 4-1H, and mount the crystal
filter
(#404-283) at FL-l with a #6 solder
lug on the bottom of the
chassts,
Use

lockwashers
and 4-40 nuts. The filter may
be installed either way, even though the filter
supplied with your kit may be labeled IN and
OUT, and the resistance
at
the terminals
may vary between zero and infinity.
Connect the coaxial cable from Breakout #1
as follows:
( ) Place the black-blue cable through grommet

( ) Locate the 4-conductor coaxial cable
assem-
ly with three coaxial cables and one hookup
wire. Position this cable assembly as shown

Pictorial
4-1.
Secure the cable to the LMO
with
a
1/4" plastic cable clamp at TX. Use
the screwremovedfrom
the LMOpreviously
to secure the cable clamp.
SOLDER
( ) Connect a .2 uf'd resin capacitor from lug 2
(FIL) (S-2) to the GND lug (8-3) on the LMO.
