Step 6. Channel 2 current calibration adjustment
Follow the steps below to calibrate all current ranges of channel 2.
calibration ranges and currents.
1. Connect the Model 6430 to the Model 6482 INPUT CHANNEL 2 connector, as shown in
Figure
2. Select the Model 6430 V/R amperes function, set the Model 6430 output to +1.90000 nA, and
then turn on the output.
3. Press the Model 6482 MSR2 key, and then set channel 1 to the 2 nA current range using the
RANGE
4. Press the MENU key, and then select CAL and press the ENTER key.
5. Select EXECUTE, and then press the ENTER key to enter the CAL EXECUTION menu.
6. Select I-CAL and press the ENTER key. The instrument will display the following:

7. Select CHAN-2 and press the ENTER key. The instrument will prompt for the positive full-range
current:

8. Set the Model 6430 current to +1.90000 nA.
9. Use the EDIT keys to adjust the Model 6482 display value to match the Model 6430 current.
