4.9 Active Interface Module
Replacing the fan in an Active Interface Module
Before replacing the fan, you must switch off the power supplies (24 V DC and 400 V AC).
Risk of electric shock. Dangerous voltages are still present for up to 5 minutes after the
power supply has been switched off. The fan cover must not be opened until this time has
elapsed.

Open the fan cover. Unscrew the
combination screws (M5 / 3 Nm)
Unscrew the screws M3 / 1.8 Nm
To install, carry out the above steps in reverse order.

Release the connection cables
Remove the connector.
Remove the fan.
