trol cable or "motor" faul-
tykt
During operation: control
cable or "probe" faulty
Flap cannot be closed
completely,
i.e. the flap is blocked by
an object in the backwater
valve

The flap cannot be closed
completely, however, i.e.
it is blocked by an object

control cable for correct connec-

Notes
The system is functional for 2
hours. Then the device switches to
sleep mode (see chapter 6.3 Addi-
tional functions)
Fault detection only takes place du-
ring operations
The probe is scanned every 60 se-
conds.
Caution: Check position of the
operating valve! The control at-
tempts to close the flap 3 x in the in-
terval and perhaps eliminate the
blocking object in the process. If the
object can be removed by the flap
movement during these cycles, the
system is ready to be used again. If
this does not work, the system swit-
ches to fault. Acknowledgement of
the signal is possible.
It is also possible to remove the ob-
ject by flushing the line. This can be
checked by pressing the test key
again. In the event of a negative re-
sult, the fault message appears
again; the object must be removed
as described under remedial mea-
sures
