Initial operation

Dry running of the pump must be avoided at all costs. Tip: Before connection to the mains voltage, fill the was-
tewater tank with water to such an extent that the pump can not run dry if the pump switches on unintentionally
(e.g. faulty connection of a level sensor).
• Connect to the mains voltage
Connect the control unit to the mains voltage <41>, initialisation begins. While the LEDs light up for approx. 4
seconds, the electrical components are checked, the battery for power outage signals actuated and menu 0.1.
Language displayed. Then initialisation can be carried out.
If initialisation (menu 0.1. Language) is not included on the display, the control unit has already been initialised. In
this case, the parameters set must be checked or the unit must be reset to the factory setting. When the factory
settings have been reset, initialisation of the control unit is automatically offered.
Please note that the counter for maintenance interval and switching cycles is not reset.
