Problem
FRYER WILL NOT HEAT:
Power Light is ON
Selector Switch is in [COOK]
position
Continuous tone alarm sounding
"MISSING FILTER" message
displayed on Controller, or Light
ON
FRYER WILL NOT HEAT:
Power Light is ON
Selector Switch is in [COOK]
position
Heat Light is OFF
Beeping tone alarm sounding
"CLEAN THE EAC" message
displayed on Controller
CHECK/WASH lights ON
FRYER WILL NOT HEAT:
Power Light is ON
Selector Switch is in [COOK]
position
High Limit Light is ON
FRYER WILL NOT HEAT:
Power Light is ON
Selector Switch is in [COOK]
position
Heat Light is OFF
Constant tone alarm sounding
"CLOGGED FILTER" message
displayed if Computer
Probable Cause
A. Baffle Filter missing
B. Baffle Filter misaligned
C. Charcoal Filter missing or
misaligned
A. EAC Cell is excessively dirty
B. EAC Cell has bent fins, or shorted
C. EAC Cell has too many broken
ionizer wires
D. Poor connection with Contact
Board; dirty or damaged
E. EAC Power Supply is faulty
F. EAC Shutdown Module is faulty
G. EAC Cell is missing
A. Power surge
B. Low oil level
C. Contactor sticking
D. High Limit Safety Board is faulty
E. High Limit Sensor is faulty, or out of
position
E. Controller is faulty
A. Charcoal Filter clogged
B. Vacuum Switch requires
adjustment, or is faulty
C. Vacuum lines clogged or kinked
D. Fan running too slow
E. Fan clogged with grease film

Corrective Action
Check, install Baffle Filter
Check, reinstall, or properly align
Baffle Filter
Check, reinstall, or properly align
Charcoal Filter
Clean the EAC Cell
Repair EAC Cell
Replace ionizer wires on Cell
Clean contacts, or replace board
Replace Power Supply
Replace Module
Install or reinstall EAC Cell
Cycle Power Switch OFF for approx 5
secs, return to [ON]
Check level, add oil as needed
Check/replace Contactor
Check/replace High Limit Board
Check, adjust, or replace sensor
Check/replace Controller
Replace Charcoal Filter
Adjust Switch, replace if needed
Check tubing clean, or remove kinks
Check voltage
Clean fan
