    Routinely performing the process can increase useful life of cooking oil by as much as 50%. Giles suggests filtering oil after every 4th load cooked to keep fryer operation & food quality at an optimum level.

To maintain food quality & fryer performance, oil should typically be changed every 7 to 10 days, depending on filtering practices, types of food, quantities cooked, etc.
