sul cruscotto non

illumina,
segnala che
il cam bio ha
una marcia inne-
stata;
I'avviamento
del
motore
in tali condizioni
pub
essere
pericoloso;
e
sempre
bene,
prima dell'avvia-
mento accertarsi
che
il cambio
sia effettivamente
in
posizione
di
«folie».
Avviamento a motore caldo
Come a motore
freddo,
salvo
che non occorre portare
la levetta
comando
«CHOKE»
in
posizione
di
avvia-
mento
(<<
1»di fig. 4) poiche la carburazione diventerebbe
troppo
grassa.
ATIENZIONE!
-II motorino di avviamento non deve
essere azionato
per oltre 5
secondi;
se iI motore
non parte, attendere 10 secondi prima di eseguire il
successive
avviamento.
In ogni caso agire sul pul-
sante
di
azionamento
(START) solo a motore fermo.
In marcia
Per cambiare
marcia,
chiudere il
gas,
azionare a
fondo
la leva
della frizione
ed
innestare
la
successiva
marcia;
rilasciare
dolcemente la
leva
della frizione e contempo-
raneamente
accelerare.
II pedale di comando cam bio va azionato con
decisione
accompagnandolo
con il
piede.
Caution!
If
the
green
«N»
warning light does
not
come
on
when
the
ignition switch
is
on
(see
«ON»
in
fig. 3) this means
that
a gear is
engaged;
starting the vehicle in this
condition
could be
dangerous.
Before
starting,
always check
that
the engine is in
neutral.
Warm start
Follow
the same procedure as that for the
cold
start but
without
the
«CHOKE»
control
in the start position (<<1
»,
fig. 4) otherwise the mixture
will
be too
rich.
ATIENTION
! - The starter motor should not be
operated
for more than 5 seconds;
if the engine
doesn't
start,
wait for 10 seconds before thefollow-
ing starting operation.
Anyway act on the starter
button only with the engine completely
stopped.
On the way
To
change
gear,
shut
the
throttle,
disengage the
clutch
fully and
engage
the next
gear;
then
engage the
clutch
gradually
while
opening
the
throttle.
The
gear change pedal should
be
operated firmly and
surely.
