8.4.8 Use in vehicles for transporting persons with reduced mobility

WARNING
Improper use in vehicles for transporting persons with reduced mobility
Risk of serious injury when using the product as a seat
► The product has not been approved by the manufacturer for use as a seat in vehicles for transporting persons
with reduced mobility.
► In vehicles for transporting persons with reduced mobility, only use the seats installed in the vehicle with the
corresponding personal restraint systems.
► Information on the current status of our measures is available from the qualified personnel.
The product Kimba Inline has not been approved by the manufacturer for use as a seat in a vehicle for transporting
persons with reduced mobility.

8.5 Care

CAUTION
Lack of or improper cleaning
Health hazard due to infections, damage to the product due to user error
► Clean the product at regular intervals.
► Do not clean the product with a jet of water or a pressure washer. The penetration of water can cause corro­
sion and subsequent malfunctions.
► Check the driving behaviour of the product after cleaning it.

8.5.1 Detaching/attaching the frame padding for cleaning (Kimba Neo only, option)

The frame padding can be removed for care and maintenance of the product.
1) Open the hook-and-loop closure on the frame padding.
2) Remove and clean the frame padding.
3) Fit the frame padding around the push bar and close the hook-and-loop strap.
4) Twist the hook-and-loop strap down and push the frame padding over the folding mechanism all the way to the
release handles (see fig. 108).
