8.2.9.8 Restrictions for use

WARNING
Using the product with certain settings and/or installed options
Severe injury in case of accidents due to options coming loose
► Before using the product in a vehicle for transporting persons with reduced mobility, remove options that
need to be taken off for safe transportation in a vehicle for transporting persons with reduced mobility. Note
the following information in this regard.
► Stow all dismantled options securely in the vehicle for transporting persons with reduced mobility.
The following options must be detached from the Kimba Neo outdoor mobility base and from the Kimba Neo seat­
ing unit and securely stowed prior to transport in a vehicle for transporting persons with reduced mobility:
• Platform for respirator (outdoor mobility base)
• Buggy board (outdoor mobility base)
• Nappy bag (outdoor mobility base)
• Storage bag (outdoor mobility base)
• Grab rail (seating unit)
• Head support (seating unit)
• Thoracic supports (seating unit)
• Pommel (seating unit)
• Neck support (seating unit)
• Lateral guides (seating unit)
• Arm supports (seating unit)
• Tray (seating unit)
• Canopy; rain canopy (seating unit)
• Rain cover (seating unit)
• Rain cape (seating unit)
• Summer/winter slip sack (seating unit)
Different restrictions apply for the following options:
• Hook-and-loop foot straps (seating unit): the feet are not permitted to be in the straps, or to be secured with
them, during transport in a vehicle for transporting persons with reduced mobility.
