3.5.1. Standard Chimney Types
The condensing water should be drained by using a chimney syphon. It is a must for a common chimney to
include a condensing plate at the bottom end so that the condensed water would not interfere with the
boiler or any kind of piping.
The types shown above are the standard ones also referred in Section 2. The air may be sucked through a
shaft freely or through a coaxial pipe system and also the flue gas may be exhausted via the same sys
inner line. Altenatively the fresh air may be sucked from the side of a building with a single and discrete
pipe system, just like the flue gas exhaust system going out from a side wall. In combination with these
examples, the flue exhaust may be done from a flat and horizontal roof also like through an inclined roof
with a roof adapter. The examples can easily be derived. The flue pipe system can be like in the examples
above or like in the standard RINNAI flue pipe system kits and equipments as shown in the following pages.
With the aid of flue system components and the circuitry icons, it will be very easy to plan the types, and
variety of equipments for your local application. An other adventageous property of the aiM flue pipe
system is the easiness of communication with an RINNAI authorized service. You may make the design and
pre-planning of your flue system before your boiler is comissioned.
