Is it possible to drive the boiler room ventilating fan from the
boiler control unit?
Answer:
Yes. There is an external timing program in the
able to give a 220V output depending on the time program. It can be programmed for 3 on/offs per day.
It is advised not to connect a high current rated device. Please use a contacter. The time program can be
set as below. Engineer
Enter the configuration menu from the engineer selection. The connection can be made to QX2 relay
output as an example. Enter the line 5891 in the configuration menu (slave relay output QX2). In this menu
of operation should be selected by the parameter 600. As an example, from Monday to Friday, or between
Saturday and Sunday or the same for all week days. Let from Monday to Friday be selected. Then the
number of on/offs with the time inputs can be made. 601 for the first open, 602 for the first close, 603 for
the second open, 604 for the second close, 605 for for the third open and 606 for the third close. The
opening and closing times can be input for each energy phase thus your fan is driven as you choose. The
main idea is to give a 220V energy to the fan obeying the user time setting.
