The QAD 36/101 strap-on sensor is used when a plate heat exchanger is installed between the primary and
secondary circuits or a 3-way mixing valve is being used on the system. The hydraulic header sensor, DHW
sensor or the solar sensor are plug in (bulb type) sensors so they need a sink to be plugged on the so called
sanitary member.
Room Thermostat
Whether it is singular or a cascade system, it is able to make 3 room thermostat connection inputs. There
can be placed a room thermostat per different three zones (places to be sensed and controlled). In other
means, LMS 14 can be connected to different three room thermostats at the same time. In this case, the
three different zones will be able to send their heat demands as digital signals (ON / OFF) to the mainboard
(LMS 14). The room thermostat connections should be made via the room thermostat input terminals H4,
H5 and H6 of LMS 14.
