Does the slave boilers continue their operation in case of master boiler
malfunction?
Answer:
The slave boilers continue operating unless an electrical problem occurs in the master boiler / an electric
cut off. The important issue is to continue the ability of communication. Thus, if the master boiler control
card (LMS 14) is out of energy or if the communication between the master and the slaves are interrupted,
the communication will generally be interrupted so that the slave boilers will stop working because the
information (cascade sensor, outside temperature sensor etc.) is gathered from the master. In such a case,
the sensor connections should be carried to a slave boiler while setting it as the master boiler (No:1). After
this operation, the other slave boilers' adressing should be rearranged properly.
I do the time program setting like 06:00 to 10:00 and 17:00 to 23:00
operation. The system operates properly between these periods. But in
economy mode, the system output temperature cools down so much. The
panel radiators are like freezing. Does not operate in the economy mode. I
set the economy mode temperature to comfort value but doesn't work.
Answer:
If the standby period is long enough between the last shut close and the following opening times, the
building may cool down in a fast way. The time program operates in automatic mode and the boiler
switches to economy mode following the first opening/closing sequence. Let's say the first desired
operation is between 06:00 to 10:00 and the second is between 17:00 to 23:00. Your device will operate
between 10:00 in the morning to 17:00 in the afternoon and the moon symbol will appear on the screen.
The sun symbol will appear on the display between 06:00 to 10:00 and 17:00 to 23:00. When the sun
symbol is being displayed on your device screen, this means that your device is operating in the comfort
mode (parameter 710), and if the moon symbol is being displayed, this alternatively means that the device
is operating at the economy mode (parameter 712). If you want to prevent your building from cooling at
the economy mode, it is advised that you may increase the economy mode temperature setting via the
parameter 712. Alternatively you may also add an internal on/off sequence between the first and second
time programs for mid-heating period purposes and to reduce the off period between two adjacent on
phases. Example: additional operation sequence between 12:00 to 14:00.
I connected the circulating pump to QX2 but there is no energy output to
the pump.
Answer:
Choose the QX2 relay output in the parameter 7700 "input-output test parameter". Control that if the
energy is given to the pump or not. If you see an energy line output, it is expected from your pump to
operate. If still no operation continues, control the electrical cabling and connections. After completing
your test, set the parameter 7700 again to "no test" and then press "OK".
