5. Remove the hardware securing the cylinder anchor
pin (3) to the mast section #5 (4). Using a suitable
brass drift, slowly drive the pin out, just enough to
release the cylinder. The pin must stay engaged to
hold the lower jib.
6. Remove the cylinder and place in a suitable area.

Jib Cylinder Installation

NOTE: Coat inside diameter of bushings with multi-purpose
grease prior to installing pins.
1. Position the jib cylinder using suitable slings or sup-
ports. Align barrel end and pin mounting holes on
the mast.
2. Using a mallet, drive the pin (3) through the barrel
end till being able to install the pin securing hard-
ware.
3. Repeat step 2 for the cylinder rod pin (2). Lift or
lower the platform to align rod end and pin mounting
holes.
4. Install hose clamp on cylinder barrel. Remove cylin-
der port plugs and install cylinder holding valve:

5. Perform a few jib movements from the ground con-
trol station to bleed the air from the circuit and to
check for proper operation.
6. Check hydraulic fluid level and adjust accordingly.
