Examples of the minimum and maximum configurations are shown below.
The main/expansion base can be used as the basic or expansion unit for the standalone
module. Select an appropriate base from the bases listed in the table below according to
the required number of slots.
When BU666/664 is used as the basic unit, the leftmost slot, S0, is retained for use by
the S2 CPU, making the number of mounted I/O modules different from the one used as
the expansion unit.
