DO not connect in reverse, charge, disassemble, heat up, throw in the fire, and short circuit the
battery. Doing so will cause the battery to explode or ignite.
Replace the battery according to the criteria for battery replacement.
Consumed battery may cause data and programs stored on S2 to be erased, resulting in
malfunction thereby damages to the equipment and accidents.
Supplementary
1. The battery can be replaced with both power ON and OFF, but the work should be done
within three minutes during power down. If the battery is removed for a long period of time,
the RAM contents (data and programs) will be erased.
2. The battery LED (BAT) may light while the battery is removed, but this is not an error (it will
go off when voltage drop is detected correctly after the battery is mounted).
3. Use the specified battery (product code: GBT611*AS).
Do not use a manganese dry battery or alkaline battery. Their voltages are not applicable to
the module.
4. It is recommended to replace the battery every two years at the maximum regardless of the
operating rate and use conditions.

Disposal of the battery

Follow the local regulations when disposing batteries.
There is the risk of explosion if the battery is disassembled or burnt.
Dispose the battery as it is.
The lithium battery will fume or ignite if positive and negative poles are shorted. Do not
cut or disassemble the lead, and take care of the poles not to be shorted.
